when these movies first came out, the notion someone could just drop into a location and have a 10 second car ready to go was hollyweird magic...such a car would cost too much and take a lot of tuning and effort. now we live in a time where if you just get a garage and tools, an LS swap with an evilbay turbo kit will get you a 10 second car (how long it lasts is another question). Heck, a four door hemi charger is entirely possible to match the potential of what Dom had in the first movie. this series has been around long enough for reality to catch up.
